Charlotte Weatherley

I am a trained Restorative Justice facilitator and a passionate advocate for the use of restorative practice in schools and workplaces.

After the upheaval of the last few years, I believe all of us need extra help in building and maintaining relationships in our schools and workplaces - and better alternatives when it comes to finding solutions for managing when they go wrong. I believe this can only happen with in-person connections: this is where stories are told and where learning can happen.

Behind me, I have extensive experience overseeing the pastoral and safeguarding needs of diverse communities, most recently as Assistant Head at Bryanston Prep school, Dorset. In this position, I managed the pastoral wellbeing of pupils, parents, and staff, including in the role as Designated Safeguarding Lead and lead on development for the P.S.H.E. and enrichment curriculums. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Bath. My teaching career has included French at secondary level, EAL for adult learners and latterly, I have specialised in teaching English at Key Stages 2 and 3.
